At the fervent request of the people of Ladakh, His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa agreed to celebrate his traditional lunar birthday in Ladakh on 24th February 2010. However, it is His Holiness's wish that spiritual activities for the benefit of all sentient being should held in conjunction with this celebration. As a result, besides the traditional Tibetan Birthday celebration, the following activities will be taking place:

	17th to 26th February
	Mass Prayers for Universal Peace and Harmony: Recitation of 100 Million Mani Mantra and 100 Million Vajra Guru Mantra Public Teaching by His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa on Gampopa's "Jewel Ornaments of Liberation" (simultaneous translation into English will be available)
	24th February
	Main Birthday Celebration in Ladakhi tradition Grand Enthronement of Chechok Rinpoche
